Do we need to plant drought resistant trees after all this rain?Yes. We have no idea if the rain we had in February and March is going to stay with us through the end of October. Even if it does, trees are supposed to live for decades, and we will certainly have another drought at some point in the future.
Will desert trees look good in my yard?
We are not promoting desert trees per se, although there are some desert species that do look very good in many Houston landscaping designs.
