Eco-Friendly Landscaping

Author Jeff HalperHouston residents who are interested in going green can contact
Exterior Worlds for eco-friendly landscaping design. Most of the
methods used in this type of design are based on simple common sense. Much can
be done to beautify a yard in an environmentally sound way if people simply make
a conscious decision to avoid waste and harm.
Water
conservation is one of our highest priorities in these projects. Water is a
resource that needs to be preserved even more than petroleum. The
economic stress of gasoline prices often overshadow a far more serious problem
that could arise in the future if we do not do more now to consciously manage
our water resources responsibly.
An
eco-friendly landscaping
design
first pinpoints all of the areas where water would normally be
wasted. It then develops a strategy to minimize the demand for water
and to drastically cut consumption in the process.
