popular flowering shrubs that we use in Houston
landscaping is the Groundcover Rose Bush. These are hardy plants that grow
up to 8 feet across. Unlike your typical rose bush, these plants grow very low
to the ground and are highly disease resistant. They also display an uncanny
ability to grow along sloped areas. This makes them very well suited to places
that might be a bit more difficult for other plants to grow.
If you have English
gardens in either your front yard or back yard, consider adding groundcover
roses to the areas along either side of your driveway. English landscaping
features very colorful themes, and low-growth roses are a great way to introduce
this theme to visitors newly arriving at your home.
